SUPERIOR HIKING TRAIL |
| The
green tunnel turns into a multi colored tunnel. Its so much better
hiking in Fall as seen from the Tower Overlook below. In the last
picture you can see the scratches in this rock between the Tower
Overlook and the Fredenberg Campsite. The scratches indicate the
direction the glaciers traveled during the ice age. The Glaciers picked
up rocks and these rocks caused the scratches. This is called Glacier Polish. |
