Spring Meadow is also
a nice place with a few small lakes in the lower portion of the
meadow.
Deer Lake may be pretty
but is often taken over by large groups of teenagers. Probably
since it can be reached in one day and makes other lakes in the
area accessible for day hiking. One place I would never camp
at.
This is Upper Buck lake with
the trail to Emigrant lake under the cliffs along the lake. The
lower lake has one of the small dams on it with standing dead
trees along the shore, killed from the higher water level.
